This is what you get...

...when you turn your camera over to a bunch of little girls?
some really fun shots!  When I got home and uploaded these pics off of my camera I just about died!  I was laughing so hard.  & I know they will LOVE seeing all the fun shots here on my blog, so here you go girls, thanks for the fun memories.

First, The boys goofing around.

Then they moved inside and here is where I think their best work came out.
Kate's super sexy pose!
Sweet Abbers!  {With Toms head walking through the shot.}

I Love that Seth has no pants on.  And look at that smile, too cute!
They sure do love playing with all the cousins!

I love how she isn't shy at all with a fellow young cousin as the photographer.

Gracie striking her sexy pose!
These girls are gonna be handfuls for their parents as they get a little older.

Gracie & Kate, really this is Hil-Arious!  I want to know who was posing them.

Emma taking her turn in front of the camera!

This one is my Favorite!  Who do these girly's think they are?  Cheerleaders?
Too funny!  They just make me laugh, thanks little ones for being so darn funny and way cute!  Someday you may actually be embarrassed by these, can't wait to use them for blackmail with your boyfriends!  Hee, Hee!  Till then I hope everyone will enjoy them, I know I will!

Also, I am looking forward to seeing HSM tonight with all of you!  Then, having a fun "spend the night" at my place!  We are going to have just sooo much fun, I can hardly stand it!  See you soon!

California Post #4 - The Final Days

Well here is the last post about Cali, promise!!!  We had such a great time that I had to document the entire trip!  Here's the pictures of the last days we spent there.
Here it is, the whole reason for our trip to Oceanside this summer.  The U.S. Open Championship's.  The boys went out to the course on Wednesday to take some pics and see some of the action before it officially started on Thursday.  They had so much fun helping out and volunteering for the event.  They said it was crazy unorganized and there were tons of volunteers, but they had a fun time doing it and loved that they were able to stand inside the ropes during the game.
Fun photo op!
Molly was kind enough to take some pics of our family on Friday down at the beach.  Nothing like all of us waiting till the last minute.  They turned out so fun, this is one of my favorites!
Here is a shot of Tims battle wound from diving for the football and hitting the sand.  OUCH!  But he said "It was totally worth it!".  This would be our last day on the beach, the boys had to get at least one football game in before we left.  Toms was loving just hanging out and watching the boys running back and forth with the ball.  He had fallen in a store that we went into and banged up his poor head.  He looked like such a train wreck, the poor guy.
Later Friday night we just hung out around the house B-B-Qing and having fun conversations.  We were all trying to do a little packing up so it wouldn't be such mad chaos in the morning.  We also stayed up pretty late watching a few last episodes of "The Office".  Spencer had volunteered to make a run to Ruby's to pick up milkshakes for everyone.  MY FAVORITE!  Chocolate Banana milkshake from Ruby's, it doesn't get any better then that!  So it was a fun laid back evening.  We were all so sad about leaving the next day that we were trying not to think about it.
Then, Saturday morning was CRAZY!  We were all running around trying to get everything cleaned up and packed to leave the house.  We actually got out of the place by like 10:15 which was a big shocker to all of us.  Tyler & I decided to go into Balboa Island to do a little shopping and sight seeing before heading home.  I SOOO miss Newport that I had to make a short trip to see it all before coming home and having to miss it for another year.  We did some shopping on Balboa and ate some lunch.  We enjoyed a yummy Balboa Bar from Dad's and I bought a few new pieces of coral to add to my collection.  It was great fun and I'm so glad we took the time to spend there.  We then headed further into the island to take the ferry across to Newport Beach.  Toms was not liking all the wind in his face, as you can see in the picture.  But I made Tyler take him out of the car so I could try to get a fun picture.
Ahh, The Newport Harbor, my favorite place in the whole world!  We drove through the fun zone area and right on over to The Crab Cooker for some yummy clam chowder with fisherman's bread.  It's my families favorite place to eat in Newport, so we had to get some to take home for them to enjoy the next day at dinner.  I've been eating their clam chowder every year of my life since before I can even remember and I love it!  If you are ever in the area, you must make it a stop on your list of things to do.  Of course, it ONLY has seafood on the menu so make sure you like seafood, otherwise, you'll hate the place.
then it was "Home or bust".  What a wonderful trip we had, I wish we had planned to stay for 2 weeks instead of just one.  Maybe next year!  The ride home was good, Toms did great until about the last hour when I could tell he was getting fussy and just ready to be out of the darn car.  and of course, I'll finish the post off with some more video highlights from the last days of the VaCa.  Enjoy and have a great day!

California Post #3 -Disneyland Day!

Here we are, in the parking garage getting everything ready to go to Disneyland!  Yahoo!  We hadn't been in so long and this was Toms first trip.  Can you tell, he's so excited!
Walking in to all the fun!!!
The massive sea of people.  And this wasn't even that bad, right?!?!
Waiting to go on Pirates!  This is my favorite ride!  I just love the smells, the cool air, the darkness of it all.  It's much needed after walking around in the heat for so long.  Toms didn't realize what he was getting into.  He was so freaked out on the ride, I've never felt him squeeze my hand tighter then he did on the first drop!  It was hilarious.
This certainly needed to be remember in this history of our lives.  All the guys with all the kids!  I love how it starts of with just one kid then goes to two and ends with Tims small herd of children.  Classic!
Waiting in a line for Haunted Mansion.  Another one Toms was not thrilled with going on.  Our poor child, really we don't mean to torture him.
Here we are waiting to go on the Buzz ride.  Tim got to Level 4!  Tyler was close but didn't quite make it to that level.  We both got Level 3, not bad for our first time on the ride.
Photo stop!
When I saw Cruella de Vil I had to stop for a group pic.  This lead to the small fight with Tyler that followed.  So silly and dumb, but it's just not Disneyland without at least one disagreement.
This was Tyler's first time at California Adventure.  We were able to see all the fun spots.  He loved Soaring and all the set's were really cool to him.  He even suggested this photo stop.  Go babe!  Never thought I'd see the day!
We stopped at Bugs life to play in the water.  Toms wasn't too sure about it all, but we had to strip him down anyway.  Later the lady came by and told us that shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.  Lame, stupid predators ruining it for everyone.  That's when we got him dressed and headed to the next attraction.
We were taking a potty break after Soarin and Toms was enjoying a churro and some raisins when I took this shot.  It really has nothing to do with anything other then I thought it was hilarious!
Here we are stopping once again for a group shot.  We are all laughing so much because everyone was making fun of me making everyone stop over and over again to take pictures.  But aren't YOU all glad that I did?!?!  {Not only you Molly but you just happened to use this exact picture in your post about cali}
People, I'm trying to make memories here!
Ahh, the end of the evening.  We were able to go on Screaming with our fast passes and stroller passes, which is my favorite ride at California Adventure.  I went first with all the girls while the boys stayed behind, then I went again with all the boys and sissa.  It was GREAT!

Then after that we had to book it back over to Disneyland to give the guy we bought our hopper passes from {on ebay} our tickets back.  Well we got caught on the wrong side of the park during the light parade and there is no way to get out once that starts.  We tried walking all around it and finally during a break in the parade the people made a walk way for everyone to pass.  There must have been like 200 of us trying to get across the street down this narrow path they made for us.  It was insane!

Finally we got back just in time to see the fireworks show{with really CRAPPY seats}.  The show is amazing though, they must have set off over 300 fireworks {really I have no idea, but that seems like a high number, right?}.  The crowd of people was insane also!  I've never seen so many people just stop right where they are and stare at the sky.  It was cool.  We were watching right at the beginning of main street and the whole main street was a sea of people.

Then as we tried getting out of the sea of people, that was insane!!!  We were trying to head one way and everyone else was trying to go the opposite.  It was utter chaos!  Finally we made it back to the gumbo place to get a bite to eat {it was 10:15 mind you, and this was dinner}.  Then The Decrows headed out and Tyler, Toms & I did a little shopping before heading home.
It was such a fun day, with a little man who did extremely well for being in a stroller most of the day.  There is just so much to see that he loved watching everything that was going on.

Now you can enjoy the random selection of video clips that I got from the day.  The best one is at the end with Tyler talking about what foolish things he doesn't do anymore {he is referring back to the boomerang ride that he is choosing NOT to go on}.

Hope you enjoy it, I still have more to post later.  By this time it was only the end of Tuesday night.  We still have the entire rest of the week.  Stay tuned, once again!

Friday Night Dinner Therapy

We this past month was my turn to host our "Friday Night Dinner Therapy Group", otherwise know as "Bunko".  This actually took place a couple of weeks ago but I haven't had the time, or rather, made the time to post about it yet.  So here we go...

We had breakfast for dinner, YUMNESS!  and as you can see I went a little crazy on the table decorations.  What's the use of owning all this fun stuff if you never use it?  Right?!

I tried my hand at my family's famous Strawberry Pecan Ice Cream, and it was divine, if I do say so myself.  I've MASTERED this recipe!

Here are most of the girls showing off all the fun jewelry we made.  There's Me, Nor, Little Jill, Molly, Cicily, Lindsay, Kizzy & Marlo{Not pictured: Ashley, Hope, Darcy, Sherrie &  Sarah}.  I had put all my beads out for everyone to make themselves something pretty after dinner.  It was so much fun just sitting around and chatting while watching all the fun piece's being made!

It was such a fun evening with all my peeps!  Thanks to everyone who was able to make it.  We missed the others who couldn't come, and I can't wait to see everyone next month!  It's just about my favorite thing to do every month.  I think Sarah has it and she always does something fabulous!  Can't wait!

Some new pages

Of course I had to take some time this week and get back into scrapping!
Here are some of the fun new LO's I've made.

California Post #2

This was our first day at the beach, and just as I expected, Toms loved it.  He was such a mooch whenever someone would get any kind of food out he went right up to them and made them his new best friend {as long as they would feed him}.  Here he has a granola bar, yumm, I shared it with him.
He and Tessa were having a great time playing in the sand together.  See the video for some live shots.  They were both so incredibly sandy, it was so gross.
He was totally striking a pose for me!
and again, loving the sand, can you tell?  He's eating goldfish here, not mouths full of sand.  Although sand was part of the handfuls.
Having lots of fun on the beach!  I had to get into some of the action.
Monday night we treated ourselves to the ever so yummy "Jay's Gourmet Pizza & Seafood" in Carlsbad.
I had the Halibut, yummm!!!
A great photo before dinner with the DeCrows!  We were waiting for the other's to arrive so we had a little time to kill.  It was a great night out without the kiddos, after dinner we went yet again to Target.  This time for a fun game to play back at the house.
Stay tuned yet again for even more California fun!
We go to Disneyland next!

The last scene in the video is the best.  The girls all came back from walking down to some fun shops and of course we left the kids with all the dad's.  Well, when I came walking in, all the dad's were sleeping and the kids were running a muck all around them.  They had all gone golfing earlier in the morning so they were a little worn out, but this scene was just too much to resist taking video of.  Sorry for any of you guys who may be embarrassed by it.
