My day so far.

This Picture was taken by OneHM a few Months ago.  We went out to have a fun little friends photo shoot & I've just now got the CD back filled with all sorts of Pics like this one.  I love it!!!  Thanks Ashley for being such a fun photographer and Friend!

In other news, today we went to the park for Toms cousin's birthday.  He loves playing with other kids, especially his cousins.  It was great also because we left there without any cuts or bruises.  Yeah!  That's always nice!

Anyway, I've been keeping myself busy trying to get things done around the house before this baby comes.  Tyler has been such a great help also.  He painted our bedroom last weekend, the other night we took the crib apart and moved it to the baby's room.  Then brought Toms' new bed into his room.  Tyler has spent each night since sleeping on the most uncomfortable bed just to get Toms comfortable and used to his own big boy room.  I'm afraid he's gonna need to do this EVERY night for a long time!  We may end up putting a full or queen size bed in there so Tyler can start to get a good night's sleep again.

The baby's room is coming along nicely.  My curtains are done, we just need to paint.  I bought some bedding last night that may work, I'm still deciding.  Hopefully Tyler will start the painting process tomorrow, we'll see.

So I'm feeling pretty good.  I had a Dr.'s appointment the other day and I'm measuring right on track to be due on the 17th of March.  WOW, it's coming so soon, yet not soon enough, you know.  My hips are KILLING me!  All I want to do is lay around all day but napping makes them hurt even more.  Then at night I get my second wind and work on stuff all around the house.  I am organizing and putting things away, getting every room ready for this new venture in our life.

Our bedroom is looking so cute, I'll post pics when I'm done, we are slightly redecorating.  Toms bedroom is pretty much the same but I've made a few minor changes that I will also post when done.  I am getting rid of SO much stuff and will have a "Girls Night Yard Sale" in the house when I get it all organized.  I'll let you all know when that is.  Hopefully soon, I really want to get ride of this huge pile of stuff that is gathering in my Living Room.

Russo Steele Car Auction

Every year we get the opportunity to go out to my Aunt & Uncle's Car Auction to enjoy the show. This year we brought some friends along. Here are a few of the fun pics from the evening. We went out to dinner first with Jon, Kristy, Jimmy & Their friends the Ross's. We had to wait FOREVER, but it was fine. After all, we did have 11 people. Thanks for joining us in such a fun evening. We all laugh so much when we are together, who could ask for anything more? One last photo opportunity before we headed home. So glad "DH" had such long arms!

A Lazy Sunday

Today Toms & I are home bound.  He woke up yesterday morning with Hand, Foot, Mouth disease.  Yay me!  So as it is highly contagious, we are now staying at home for a few days.  I must say, I was not that sad to not have to wake up at 7:30 to get to church on time.  But the rest of the day is going to be very long without being able to go anywhere.

Last Night

We invited my In-Laws over for dinner.  Whenever I actually make something decent I usually invite my In-Laws over to eat because there is always more then enough for all of us.  Hope came also and we had a nice dinner while Toms was deciding to be his crazy self and scream the whole time.

After dinner Hope {yaya} decided to give Toms a bath in the kitchen sink.  He's a bit big for the sink but it was so cute.

Anyway, he loves taking baths and he loves his Aunt Hope spoiling him too, so it was a perfect combination.  Afterwards he comes out looking like this...

Anyway, I just LOVE this pic of him, he did not want his picture taken and this depicts so many of his moods lately.  I love it.

Thanks Yaya for getting him all clean and ready for bed.  The rest of the evening was spent watching "The Office", "30 Rock" and doing a little online shopping.  I spent about 2 hours at Macy's yesterday trying to find something to buy with a Gift Card I got for Christmas and I came home with nothing.  So I had a little more luck online.

Saturday's "BIG" Project

So last Saturday Tyler gets the motivation up to clean out the whole garage.  Yeah!!!  It's something that's needed to be done since we moved in.  We have never parked both cars in the garage before and Tyler was determined to get them both in there.  After about 4 hours or so our dream became a reality.

TaDa!  We got both of them in.  We still have a few misc. things that go in certain places in the house but for the most part we clean and organized everything else to be exactly where it needs to go.  What a great feeling this was, for both Tyler {for all his hard work} & me, for being able to enjoy the organization of it all.

Well, Sunday was great, then Monday he was so thrilled with having his car in the garage in the morning before leaving for work.  It didn't have frost on the windows and was actually bearable to drive to work.

But then came Tuesday morning.

Tyler was leaving early to be at a meeting, I was up getting a bowl of cereal.  He left to go to his meeting and goes into the garage to open the door and head off & he push's the door opener and nothing.  It has broken somehow between the night before and that morning.

GREAT!

All that work and now both of our cars are stuck in the garage.

Finally he was able to prey it open while I was pushing the garage door opener, he was forcing it up.  He was working against the motor which was pushing it down each time, so I'm surprised he didn't get a hernia or seriously hurt his back while doing it.

Anyway, we moved both of our cars out and haven't been able to get it open since.  Nice!  & a new garage door is seriously NOT in the budget!  So oh well, at least it's clean.  It makes for a great open space for Toms to ride his bike.

Anywho, it's been the funny story around our house for the past couple of days, so I thought I'd pass the hilariousness on.

Smartest Kid on the Block

No offense to all of your children but the other day I was cutting things out of paper to prepare for one of my Banner classes and Toms picks this piece up and says,

"Cow".

How crazy is that?  He saw a cow in this piece of scrap paper.  Amazing!  

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew Toms was this brilliant.  Hee, Hee!  It totally reminded me of THIS.  Scroll down to the last pic in this post.  Same idea.  We have a pretty smart little family!

Narrowing it down...

So finally I got Tyler to sit with me to go over a few baby names.  We have had a few in mind but needed to narrow it down and get serious about it.  So here are the top five choices.  

{and I'm not sure I want any opinions on which one you may like, 

I don't want it to interfere with my decision making in any way.}
