Blissful Living Classes

So with the opening of the Blissful Living Studio drawing near I am working my little fingers off trying to get all my classes in order for the Open House.  I have made a few example's of my classes for everyone to get a feel for the fun things that will be going on.

"Get The Message"

This is an example of my "Get the Message" class.  It will be $45 for the class and you'll get to make a message board as well as 4 magnets {Not shown} to take home.  The actual size is 12x12, and I'll have a few different colors to choose from.  This will be one of the samples. The first one of these classes will be held on May 17, 2008 @ 11:00am.  

"Enlighten your Creativity"

I'm also creating a class on easy candle decorating.  This is just my first sample that I was playing around with tonight.  This class will be $25 to come and make a fun candle with a monogram and be a little "Enlightened" while doing it!  More colors and paper's will be available for this class as well.  Still not sure of the actual date of this class.

Pardon The Overload!

Alright, I've had a moment tonight to, as I like to call it "Power Blog".  I've missed so much in the past week so I'm working on catching up.  So scroll down and enjoy the posts.  I'll try to keep on top of it now that things have settled down for me a bit.  Enjoy!

and it begins...

Featured here is Toms' first scratch from being in Nursery.  Nice!  I knew it would happen but hoped it wouldn't be within the first month of his Nursery experience.  Oh well, last week he came home sick after it so I guess I would rather he get scratched then the flu.  What are you going to do?  Every parent must go through it, so here we go.

...and here is his first piece of art work that he brought home from church.  One of most likely hundreds throughout his lifetime.  He's getting so big, it's so sad to think about how fast it all goes by.

Spring Fling

The Fling was a huge success!!! This is a pic of the set up I had for all my goodies.  We had a great turnout and some really amazing vendors set up down the block in Downtown Mesa.  Domestic Bliss was such a great host, and I can't wait to join them again in the fall!  Thanks to all who came to support our local Artisans, Antique Dealers and some of the shops down main street.

Amazing Jakes

On Friday Kristy called us up to let us know she was taking her kids to Amazing Jakes to play and have lunch.  So instead of staying home and doing all the boring stuff on my list, I decided to go and hang out with all of the red heads.  We had a great time playing all the fun games and riding all the rides.  It was a ghost town so we had the whole place to ourselves, nice!  We were able to ride on the "Go Karts" and here is Toms waiving to the passerby's.  It was the cutest thing ever.  He would put his hands in the air and say "Hiieee" as they would pass by the glass.  Darling.  He had his first ride on the tea cups, a carousel and a little train ride.  Great fun!  Thanks for inviting us to come and play Kris!  We need to do that more often.

Friday Night Out

We went out to Tempe Market Place last weekend to have some dinner and walk around for a bit.  We came across the splash pad and Toms was hooked!  We let him play for a bit and he LOVED it!

and after.  He was soaked!!!  But loved every minute of it!  After we sat near one of the fireplaces they have going there and warmed him up a bit.  A very fun evening indeed, that we will most likely do again.  It was very entertaining watching him try to walk through all the water spouts.  He had attracted quite the crowd.

New Summer Shoes

The other evening we went out to dinner and then headed over to Old Navy to look around a bit.  We found some fun new sandals for summer.  How cute are these on Toms little feet?

Trina Beana

I just love this new kit by Tangie!  

I didn't write any words in this LO because I loved the symbolism I hid within it.  

Here are a few "HINTS" to figure them out.  

I want Katrina to know that she has the "KEY" to her every happiness, a "BLANK PAGE" to start fresh, with the "WINGS" she needs to get her there. She is a "PEARL" among pearls with the possibility to "GROW" beyond her imagination!

La Boheme

In December I had the privilege of going to The Orpheum Theatre to see Tyler's cousin, Lisanne Norman, in the Opera "La Boheme".  This is by far my all time FAVORITE opera!  I love the music, the story, it's simply gorgeous all around!  If you ever get the opportunity to see it, you must go!  Anyway, while we were there we ran into Cory from the FOX 10 morning show.  He was so nice, we had a fun conversation and of course I had to take a picture.  I'm finally getting to scrapping it.  Go HERE for Credits.

Chuck E Cheese
