FHE with my Family

Last night for FHE we went to IN-N-OUT burger for dinner then out to my mom's friends home. She always decorates for halloween and has all the department 56 villages that she puts up. So she was kind enough to allow all of us to come and see the great displays.These girls sure love this kid!

Here we are in front of one of the displays. It was amazing how much work goes into these tiny villages. After looking at all the fun she even made the kids dessert. Yummy cupcakes and sherbet fizz punch.

Her displays were amazing! Thanks mom for setting it all up for us to go and thanks jennifer for having us all over! A great memory for all of us!

Photo Booth Fun!

So at our Halloween party last Friday night, Kristy, Hyrum, Jill and Jimmy thought it would be funny to play with my photo booth and then post it on my desktop. Well hope you guys don't mind the whole world (or at least whoever look at my blog) to see how great you all look. Good Times! Thanks for the memories!

Gigi's Treasure's

Today I had the opportunity to go over to my Grandma's house and get some of the goodies that she has been giving out to all her grandkids. My sister has already gone and posted a ton of picture's of all the great stuff that she got so now I can show off all my loot! Thanks Grandma! I love it all!

I got a lot of lacy napkins and place mats as well as a runner for the middle of the table. Here are just a few. You'll start to get bored if I show everything.

This is a silly toy that has always been in her toy cabinet that every little kid has played with one time or another. I thought this would be a fun thing for Toms.

Silver espresso cups with little stirring spoons. I think they are darling. Maybe good for sherbet in between courses.

This was one of my favorite finds! This is about two yards of Vintage Marimekko fabric from 1964. I see reprints of this stuff all the time and here I have the original stuff. Very cool!

I have always loved these two posters in her home. La Boheme is my absolute favorite opera! If you ever get a chance to see it I highly recommend going!

I got about 15 of these punch cups. Every Christmas Eve Gigi makes homemade egg nog and serves them in these cups. Hopefully someday I can carry on that tradition with these.

This is just a little glimpse of some of the things that go on over at my in-laws house on Sunday nights. Notice Marilyn's head drop down when Tom says hell. Also how Tyler and Spencer never really grow up and how they are still trying to tell their mother what she can and cannot do. Love it when Amy points out how silly Tyler looks when he's running in place and Tyler defending himself by saying that it was because of him he was running faster.

I must say that I really do enjoy having these fun moments to share with all of them. I really do love my in-laws and all the craziness that follows!
