The Mother's Day Gift

So if your wondering why it's been awhile since I last blogged, this is it. I was working so hard all last week to finish our Mother's Day gift for my mother-in-law that I literally had no time for anything else. I was also bust working on making cards for all the primary children to sign and fill out for their mothers in primary. 70 of those to be exact. Tyler was Graduating on Saturday and I was just a busy little bee wondering around trying to make all the proper arrangements for that. Anyway, on Friday evening I was finally finished with the mother's day gift and this was the end product.
I have made about 6 or 7 of these cute pictures but none of them have ever taken me soooo long. I probably spent a good 15 to 18 hours on this one. We gathered over 200 different words or phrases that remind us of our mother and I had to find a way to fit them all inside the frame. Actually some of them didn't fit and I had to put a few on the back. She loved it and of course it made her cry. I was happy I did it for her cause it is such a fun thing to be able to glance at and see all the many ways her children love her. It is a way to show her that we don't take everything for granted and that we are aware of all that she does for us. Happy Mothers Day, Marilyn, We all love you!

If I remember corectlly your mom's took longer to make. Or did you just drag your feet? I guess we will never know.
